DOUBLE E PERFORMANCE CENTER

The Double E Performance Center is a multi-venue entertainment complex at The Essex Experience campus in Essex Junction, Vermont, in the heart of Chittenden County. The complex includes The Lounge (a pub-style music venue), the T-Rex Theater (a 400-seat listening room with Vermont's only large-format cinema screen), and The Old Stage (an outdoor performance space facing a restored 200-year-old barn).

The Lounge hosts live music spanning American roots, comedy, classical, and world music with a dance floor, tiered seating, and a curated drink menu. The T-Rex Theater presents larger concerts, speaking events, and independent films on the largest screen in Vermont (a 60-foot curved screen) with a Steinway D-Series grand piano. The Old Stage hosts outdoor summer concerts and festivals.

The Double E has been presenting events on The Green since 2018. The T-Rex Theater opened in November 2010 as part of Essex Cinemas. The campus offers free on-site parking and is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Burlington and 30 minutes from St. Albans.
