ABOUT
Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center is a 427-seat multi-use theater in Stowe, Vermont, located within the Spruce Peak Village at Stowe Mountain Resort. The venue features pristine acoustics, a state-of-the-art technical system, and on-stage configurations seating up to 100. The interior is finished in warm Douglas Fir panels and Vermont green slate.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Programming includes concerts, dance recitals, comedy, lectures, film screenings, and community events. The venue also hosts weddings, corporate retreats, and private events. Its mountain resort setting provides a distinct experience combining performing arts with outdoor recreation.
HISTORY
Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center opened in December 2010, though planning began as early as 1998. It operates as a nonprofit arts organization. The building is clad in red cedar shingles with architectural details in cedar and pine, designed to complement the resort village aesthetic. Founding supporters include the Thomas G. Cronin Family and Bradley H. Jack.
