WannaGoSee — Live Music in New England

new england's live music guide

NORFOLK

Norfolk sits in the Litchfield Hills of northwest Connecticut, a town of about 1,600 people at the edge of the Berkshires. The Yale Summer School of Music has operated here since the early 1900s, and Infinity Hall has been hosting performances since 1883.

Infinity Hall Norfolk is a 300-seat venue inside an 1883 opera house with its original proscenium stage and woodwork still intact. You can catch over 200 shows a year here — blues, folk, indie rock, and nationally touring acts filmed for the CPTV concert series Infinity Hall Live.

A hilltop New England village where the town green, a Congregational church designed by David Hoadley in 1813, and the Battell-Stoeckel estate set the architectural tone. Norfolk runs on summer festivals and weekend visitors, not commuter traffic.

Tip: Pair a show at Infinity Hall with dinner at the on-site bistro — the venue operates as a full music hall and restaurant under one roof.
