ABOUT
The Broad Brook Opera House is a historic concert venue located at 107 Main Street in the Broad Brook village of East Windsor, Connecticut. The building sits at the corner of Main and Depot Streets, next to the Broad Brook Dam, and has a capacity of 460 people. It serves as both a live music hall and a private event space for weddings and celebrations.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The venue hosts a regular schedule of tribute bands, touring musicians, and community events. Performances lean toward classic rock tributes, country, and variety acts that appeal to a broad audience. Public parking is available nearby, with additional street parking along Main Street.
HISTORY
The Broad Brook Opera House was built in 1892 by the Broad Brook Company, a textile manufacturer that operated in the area. The first floor originally housed a company salesroom and shipping department, while the upper floor served as a public hall for community events. After decades of varied use, the building was re-established as a live entertainment venue in 2018 and has since hosted a steady calendar of concerts and private events.
