DOWNTOWN LIVE AT ROCKWELL THEATER

Downtown Live at the Rockwell Theater is a live entertainment series held at the 620-seat Rockwell Theater, located at 70 Memorial Boulevard in Bristol, Connecticut. The theater was built in 1921 and features historic architecture with a base-level seating area and a second-floor balcony. It is operated by Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services as a cultural venue for the community.

The Downtown Live series presents a mix of concerts, tribute bands, comedy, variety shows, and family-oriented performances. The season runs from September through May, with shows typically scheduled on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 PM. Concessions and will-call are available on-site, and tickets are sold through Ticket Tailor.

The Rockwell Theater has served the Bristol community for over 100 years as a performance space. The Downtown Live series launched in September 2023 after the adjacent Bristol Arts and Innovation Magnet School was renovated, giving the theater renewed purpose. Since its launch, the series has drawn thousands of patrons and featured nationally touring acts on a monthly basis.
