FAIRFIELD THEATRE COMPANY
ABOUT
The Fairfield Theatre Company (FTC) is a non-profit performing arts organization headquartered at 70 Sanford Street in downtown Fairfield. The campus includes four distinct spaces: StageOne (225 capacity), The Warehouse (640 capacity), The Lot (500-capacity outdoor stage), and The Gallery (70-capacity art space). FTC presents over 300 events annually to more than 70,000 patrons.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Programming spans live music, film, comedy, theater, and arts education across all four spaces. StageOne is consistently recognized for its sound quality and intimate concert experience. The Warehouse accommodates larger touring acts in an industrial-chic setting. The Lot offers outdoor summer concerts. FTC also runs midday matinee series and educational programs including a Summer Cabaret Workshop.
HISTORY
Founded in 2000, FTC first presented Off-Broadway theater productions at the Quick Center at Fairfield University in 2001. In 2004, the organization moved to its current Sanford Street location and opened StageOne. In 2015, FTC opened The Warehouse, a second, larger performance space. The organization has earned a reputation as a regional center for arts and culture in Fairfield County.
