ABOUT
The Grand Theater at Foxwoods is a 4,000-seat entertainment venue inside Foxwoods Resort Casino on the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation reservation. The theater has been renamed the Premier Theater and is the same physical space as VEN-009. It features tiered seating across Orchestra, Parterre, and Mezzanine levels, with two large video screens flanking the stage.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Premier Theater (formerly Grand Theater) is designed for marquee headliner concerts, comedy specials, and large-scale entertainment. The room hosts acts ranging from Jerry Seinfeld and Nikki Glaser to Patti LaBelle, DEVO, and championship boxing events. The acoustics and sightlines are engineered for both intimate stand-up comedy and full-band performances.
HISTORY
The Grand Theater was part of Foxwoods' expansion of entertainment offerings beyond casino gaming. It was later renamed to Premier Theater as part of a venue rebranding effort to help guests navigate the massive resort complex. Foxwoods opened in 1992 as Connecticut's first casino and grew into one of the largest casino resorts in the world, covering 9 million square feet.
