NORFOLK
INFINITY HALL NORFOLK
ABOUT
Infinity Hall Norfolk is a 300-seat live music venue and bistro at 20 Greenwoods Road West in the rural Litchfield Hills town of Norfolk. The venue occupies a historic 1883 building originally designed as a combination opera house, barber shop, and saloon. The intimate room features period architectural details within a fully restored performance space. A bistro restaurant operates on-site.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Programming mirrors the Hartford location with national and regional touring acts across rock, blues, folk, Americana, and jazz. The small-town setting and historic architecture create a distinctive concert experience that draws audiences from across the Litchfield Hills and beyond. The venue promises no bad seats in the house.
HISTORY
The building was constructed in 1883 and designed by architect George Palliser of Bridgeport, who published its design in his book on public buildings (1889). Originally chartered as the Norfolk Village Hall but commonly known as the Norfolk Opera House, the building served various purposes over the decades. Dan Hincks purchased it at a tax auction for $240,000 on February 3, 2007, and Infinity Hall's opening night was October 17, 2008, with a concert by singer Kenny Rankin.
