The Premier Theater at Foxwoods is a 4,000-seat entertainment venue inside Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Formerly known as the Grand Theater, the venue features tiered seating across Orchestra, Parterre, and Mezzanine levels, with two large video screens flanking the stage for enhanced viewing from every seat. The room is designed for superb acoustics and maximum comfort.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Premier Theater hosts marquee headliner concerts, comedy specials, boxing, MMA, and large-scale entertainment events. Acts like Jerry Seinfeld, Nikki Glaser, Gabriel Iglesias, Jay Leno, DEVO, and Patti LaBelle perform regularly. The venue accommodates both full-band rock concerts and intimate stand-up comedy with equal acoustic clarity. Tickets are available through Foxwoods and Ticketmaster.
HISTORY
The Premier Theater (formerly Grand Theater) is part of Foxwoods Resort Casino, founded by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. Foxwoods opened as a bingo hall in 1986 and expanded into a full casino in 1992, growing into one of the largest casino resorts in the world at 9 million square feet. The Grand Theater was renamed Premier Theater as part of a venue rebranding effort to reduce guest confusion within the resort complex.
