Fairfield is a shoreline town in Fairfield County with a population around 61,500, anchored by a walkable town center along the Post Road. Sacred Heart University and Fairfield University both sit within town limits.

Fairfield Theatre Company at 70 Sanford Street is the primary draw, presenting over 300 events a year to more than 70,000 patrons across live music, comedy, film, and theater. The Warehouse at FTC handles smaller-format and emerging-act bookings in an adjacent space.

Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts on the Sacred Heart University campus runs a 776-seat auditorium for theater, dance, and music programming. The Southport and Fairfield Beach neighborhoods are residential, so most of the live-event action stays in the town center.
