BLACK-EYED SALLY'S
ABOUT
Black-Eyed Sally's is a Southern BBQ restaurant and live music venue located at 350 Asylum Street in downtown Hartford, Connecticut. Housed in a 100-year-old brick building with pressed tin walls, time-worn wood floors, and blues memorabilia, the venue doubles as a juke joint-style performance space. It serves award-winning barbecue and Southern cooking alongside its music programming.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The venue hosts live music Wednesday through Saturday nights, with Wednesdays dedicated to jazz and Thursdays through Saturdays featuring blues, soul, rock, and R&B acts. The intimate bar setting puts audiences close to performers in an atmosphere decorated with Southern folk art. Food service runs during performances, and the restaurant is also open for lunch.
HISTORY
Black-Eyed Sally's was established in 1995 as a Southern-themed restaurant and music venue in Hartford's downtown district.
