The Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts is a 776-seat performing arts venue located on the campus of Sacred Heart University at 5151 Park Avenue in Fairfield, Connecticut. The center serves as a multi-faceted facility presenting theatrical, musical, and dance performances.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The center hosts a wide variety of professional performances, university productions, lectures, and community events throughout the academic year. Programming spans theatrical productions, musicals, concerts, and dance performances from both Sacred Heart's programs and visiting artists. Box office hours are Monday through Friday, 12-4pm and two hours before shows.

HISTORY

The Edgerton Center occupies a late 1950s-era auditorium on the Sacred Heart University campus that has been updated with modern amenities including a renovated lobby and art gallery. The center takes its name from the Edgerton family's support of performing arts at the university.
