MUSIC THEATRE OF CONNECTICUT

Music Theatre of Connecticut (MTC) is a professional Equity theater and conservatory located at 509 Westport Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut. The venue serves as Fairfield County's award-winning professional theater, producing MTC MainStage Equity productions alongside a School of Performing Arts for students ages four through high school.

MTC produces an annual season of Equity musicals and plays featuring New York and local professional artists, complemented by student productions and curriculum-based theater and dance classes. The nationally recognized College-Bound in the Performing Arts program supports performance-career-focused high school students. Subscriptions and group sales are available.

Founded in 1987 by Kevin Connors and Jim Schilling, MTC has presented over 30 seasons of critically acclaimed productions, including new works and rediscovered musicals from the American theater canon. The theater has grown from its founding into the premier provider of theater performance and training in Fairfield County.
