BAYSIDE BOWL
ABOUT
Bayside Bowl is a bowling alley and live music venue at 58 Alder Street in Portland's Bayside neighborhood. The facility has a capacity of 450 and features 20 USBC-sanctioned lanes of ten-pin bowling. A seasonal rooftop deck with a bar overlooks Portland's skyline.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The rooftop stage hosts live music, DJ sets, and comedy from spring through fall. Indoor concerts and events run year-round on weekends. The venue also hosts PBA League professional bowling events. A 1960s Airstream on the rooftop serves food alongside craft cocktails.
HISTORY
Bayside Bowl opened on June 1, 2010, founded by Charlie Mitchell and co-founder Justin Alfond. The concept grew out of a casual bowling league at Yankee Lanes that swelled to 26 teams. The venue originally had 12 lanes and expanded in 2016 to 20 lanes with a mezzanine, arcade, and panoramic rooftop deck.
