WHAT TO EXPECT

HISTORY

BPM opened on April 29, 2005, originally as a jazz lounge named Liquid Blue. The business has changed hands several times, with each owner expanding its programming. Current owners Celeste Parke and Andrew Roseman converted it to an arts nonprofit, maintaining its role as one of Portland's few dedicated jazz venues.
