Geno's Rock Club is a dive bar and live music venue at 625 Congress Street in Portland, Maine. The space has a capacity of 184 and is a 21+ venue open seven days a week from 5 PM to 1 AM. It operates as a no-frills rock club with a pool table, darts, and a full bar.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Programming covers punk, metal, hardcore, indie, goth, honky tonk, and rock, along with drag shows, burlesque, DJ nights, karaoke, and open mic nights. The club books both local and national touring acts at affordable ticket prices. Most live music takes place Thursday through Saturday, with punk rock karaoke on Monday nights.

HISTORY

Geno's Rock Club was established in 1983 and has operated as a fixture of Portland's underground music scene for over four decades. It is one of the longest-running dive bars and rock venues in the city, maintaining its identity as a gritty, unpretentious performance space on Congress Street.
