Jonathan's is a restaurant and upstairs listening room at 92 Bourne Lane in Ogunquit, Maine. The listening room has a capacity of approximately 240 and occupies the second floor of a converted family home that also houses multiple dining rooms, a lounge, and banquet space. The restaurant has operated as a dining destination with a full menu of Maine seafood and farm-to-table cuisine.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The upstairs listening room hosts acoustic, folk, singer-songwriter, and soft rock acts, as well as comedy performances. The intimate concert setting features nationally known artists and comedians, with most shows on Friday and Saturday evenings. Jazz is regularly featured in the downstairs lounge.
HISTORY
Jonathan's was founded in 1976 when Jonathan West purchased his parents' home and converted it into a restaurant. Over the decades, the business expanded from a single dining room to one of the largest restaurants in Maine through a series of renovations adding dining rooms, a second floor, and additional spaces. The venue has presented over 1,500 live shows, hosting artists including Judy Collins, Arlo Guthrie, Jonathan Edwards, and Paula Poundstone.
