HISTORY
The amphitheater opened on July 27, 2010, with a concert by Celtic Woman. Originally called the Bangor Waterfront Pavilion with a capacity of 8,000, it was expanded in 2013 to its current size. Previously known as Darling's Waterfront Pavilion, it was renamed Maine Savings Amphitheater. A University of Maine study found the venue generated over $30 million in economic impact by 2013.
