South Hadley is a Pioneer Valley town home to Mount Holyoke College, with a pair of brewery and bar venues that book live entertainment.

Drunken Rabbit Brewing and Johnny's Bar & Grille both host live music, typically acoustic acts, open mics, and local bands. The college community adds a younger demographic to the audience.

South Hadley's scene is relaxed and community-scaled. The venues are neighborhood establishments first, music venues second — which keeps things unpretentious and affordable.

Tip: Route 116 (College Street) is the main commercial corridor. For larger shows, Northampton and Holyoke venues are a short drive.
