Agganis Arena is a 290,000-square-foot multipurpose sports and entertainment center on the Boston University campus, seating 6,150 for hockey and expandable to over 7,000 for concerts. The venue serves as home ice for BU Terriers hockey while hosting touring concerts, comedy, and special events.

HISTORY
Agganis Arena opened on January 3, 2005 with a BU men's hockey game against the University of Minnesota. It was ranked the #2 university venue in the nation by Venues Today Magazine in 2016. The arena is named for Harry Agganis, a legendary BU and Boston Red Sox athlete.
