The Aria Ballroom at MGM Springfield is a 10,600-square-foot performance venue inside the MGM Springfield casino resort at One MGM Way in Springfield, Massachusetts. The ballroom has a capacity of 1,052 standing or 432 seated, with Orchestra and Mezzanine seating sections. The venue serves as the primary concert and comedy space within the resort complex.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Programming includes concerts, comedy shows, and special events booked through Live Nation and Ticketmaster. The ballroom features tiered seating with Orchestra sections closest to the stage and Mezzanine sections spread around the upper level. The venue is part of the larger MGM Springfield entertainment complex that includes dining, gaming, a hotel, and retail.
HISTORY
MGM Springfield opened on August 24, 2018 as the first resort casino in Massachusetts. The $960 million complex was built in an area of downtown Springfield that sustained damage from a tornado on June 1, 2011. The Aria Ballroom operates as the resort's dedicated live entertainment room.
