Boarding House Park is an outdoor concert venue within the Lowell National Historical Park in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts, surrounded by the historic Boott Mills. The tree-lined lawn venue hosts general admission seating on chairs and blankets.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect a summer outdoor concert experience featuring national recording artists in a historic industrial setting. The park is home to the Lowell Summer Music Series and the Lowell Folk Festival, as well as the annual Banjo and Fiddle Contest each September. All seating is general admission on the lawn.
HISTORY
Boarding House Park is part of the Lowell National Historical Park, managed by the National Park Service. The Lowell Summer Music Series, presented by the Lowell Festival Foundation, has been running for over 35 years, making it one of the longest-running outdoor concert series in the region. The park is also managed by Spectacle Live for its concert programming.
