ABOUT

Bright Ideas Brewing is a craft brewery and taproom with locations in North Adams and Westfield, Massachusetts. The Westfield taproom, located at 109 Apremont Way near Barnes Regional Airport and the intersection of Routes 90 and 91, features the brewhouse directly in the taproom so guests can watch the brewing process. The space includes a games room, intimate nook areas, and outdoor picnic seating.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Visitors can expect a dog-friendly and family-friendly taproom with a rotating lineup of live music, comedy, and community events. The brewery does not have a kitchen but offers charcuterie from local purveyors and hosts a rotating schedule of food trucks. Beer styles range from New England IPAs and European lagers to sours, seltzers, and seasonal stouts. Private event space is available for groups up to 100.

HISTORY

Bright Ideas Brewing was founded in 2016 on the campus of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) in North Adams. The Westfield taproom opened in 2023 as the brewery's second location. The brewery was voted Best Brewery in the Berkshires from 2018 to 2022 by Berkshire Eagle readers.
