ABOUT

The Chelmsford Center for the Arts (CCA) is a visual and performing arts center housed in Chelmsford's historic 1879 Italianate Revival Town Hall overlooking the Town Common. The facility includes a Veterans Memorial Auditorium and a Cabaret Cafe for smaller performances.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect rock, pop, jazz, country, theater, and children's events at affordable prices with free parking. The CCA is also home to the Chelmsford Community Band, Community Jazz Band, and the Applause Academy youth program. Programming ranges from nationally touring performers to community productions.

HISTORY

The building served as Chelmsford's Town Hall from 1879 to 1981. The Chelmsford Center for the Arts opened on November 7, 2009, transforming the historic structure into the town's only public arts institution. The CCA also houses artist-in-residence studios and a gallery.
