HERITAGE THEATERS

Heritage Theaters is a 6-screen independently owned multiplex located at 280 Route 130 in Sandwich, Massachusetts. The theater features stadium seating and digital sound across all auditoriums. It was built by Thomas Tsakalos of Tsakalos Realty Trust.

Programming focuses on first-run Hollywood releases with lower ticket and concession prices than larger chain theaters. The theater also offers drive-in screenings using a projector aimed at a painted exterior wall with a realigned parking lot. It serves as the primary cinema for the upper Cape Cod gateway town of Sandwich.

Heritage Theaters was built and opened around 2000-2001 by Thomas Tsakalos as a community-focused cinema for Sandwich. The theater added drive-in screening capability during the COVID-19 era by painting the side of the building white, installing an outdoor projector, and reconfiguring the parking lot to face the wall.
