HOUSE OF BLUES BOSTON

ABOUT

House of Blues Boston is a 2,425-capacity live music venue at 15 Lansdowne Street, adjacent to Fenway Park. It is part of the national House of Blues chain operated by Live Nation and serves as one of Boston's primary mid-size concert rooms.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect a standing-room general admission floor with tiered balcony seating, multiple bars, and the signature House of Blues decor mixing Southern folk art with concert hall infrastructure. The venue books rock, pop, hip-hop, electronic, country, and comedy acts on a near-nightly schedule.

HISTORY

House of Blues Boston opened in 2009 on the site of the former Avalon and Axis nightclubs on Lansdowne Street. The location brought new energy to the historic Lansdowne Street music scene, which has been a center of Boston nightlife since the 1970s.
