ABOUT
The J. Everett Collins Center for the Performing Arts is a 1,203-seat theater annexed to Andover High School at 100 Shawsheen Rd in Andover. The facility includes a 61-foot-wide orchestra pit and is known for its acoustics and modern production capabilities.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Programming includes concerts, school performances, community theater, and touring acts. The venue serves as a regional performing arts hub for the Merrimack Valley area.
HISTORY
Construction was completed in 1983, with the inaugural performance on September 25 of that year. The theater was named after John Everett Collins, an Andover musician and politician.
