LEADER BANK PAVILION
ABOUT
Leader Bank Pavilion is a 5,000-seat outdoor amphitheater at 290 Northern Avenue in Boston's Seaport District, overlooking Boston Harbor. It operates as the city's primary summer concert destination, hosting live performances from May through October under Live Nation management.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect an open-air waterfront concert experience with a mix of reserved seating and lawn areas. The harbor setting adds a distinctive backdrop, and the venue books major touring acts across rock, pop, country, hip-hop, and comedy genres throughout the summer season.
HISTORY
The venue originally opened in August 1994 as the Harborlights Pavilion near Fan Pier. It was relocated and rebuilt at its current site, reopening on July 11, 1999 as the BankBoston Pavilion. The venue has cycled through multiple naming sponsors including FleetBoston, Bank of America, Blue Hills Bank, and Rockland Trust before Leader Bank acquired current naming rights.
