MUNICH HAUS

Munich Haus is a traditional German restaurant at 13 Center Street in downtown Chicopee, Massachusetts, established in 2004 by Hubert Michael Gottschlicht, who was raised in Bavaria and trained in German culinary schools before coming to America in 1981. The restaurant specializes in house-made schnitzels and sausages with authentic German decor including cuckoo clocks and servers in traditional lederhosen.

Expect an old-world German dining experience with seasonal Oompah band performances that encourage audience participation. The restaurant hosts annual Oktoberfest celebrations and maintains a large beer selection focused on German imports alongside classic German cuisine.
