NATHAN BILL'S BAR & RESTAURANT
ABOUT
Nathan Bill's Bar & Restaurant is an Irish-American bar and restaurant at 110 Island Pond Road in the East Forest Park neighborhood of Springfield, Massachusetts. The establishment is named after Nathan Denison Bill, the City of Springfield Park Commissioner from 1899 to 1927, who donated multiple tracts of parkland in the area.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect live Irish music from Thursdays through Sundays, rock bands, acoustic acts, and one of the largest St. Patrick's Day parties in Western Massachusetts. The venue includes a heated patio, a banquet hall (the Thomas J. Sullivan Banquet Hall), and an Irish-inspired food menu featuring items like corned-beef hash burgers.
HISTORY
Nathan Bill's was established in 2013 by owner Sully and partner Joe Sullivan as a neighborhood gathering place celebrating Irish culture in the East Forest Park community. The venue's namesake served as Park Commissioner for 28 years, donating over 19 acres for the Nathan D. Bill Playground in the East Forest Park section.
