ABOUT

The Regent Theatre is a 450-seat performing arts venue located on Massachusetts Ave in Arlington, just minutes from Cambridge and Boston. The theater is MBTA-accessible with street parking and a municipal lot nearby.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect an eclectic calendar of live music, theater, dance, comedy, independent film, and family entertainment in an intimate setting with strong acoustics and clear sightlines. Past performers include Johnny Winter, Tower of Power, Taj Mahal, Hot Tuna, and the Count Basie Orchestra.

HISTORY

The Regent opened in 1916 as a vaudeville house billed as "Arlington's Show Place of Entertainment." It has operated continuously for over a century and now functions as a cultural center for the community.
