SHOWCASE SUPERLUX CHESTNUT HILL

Showcase SuperLux Chestnut Hill is a luxury six-screen cinema at 55 Boylston Street in the Chestnut Hill section of Newton, Massachusetts, located within The Street retail development. The theater offers two tiers of luxury seating: SuperLux recliners with heated lumbar support, adjustable powered headrests, and extended footrests; and LuxLite seats with powered, fully reclining positions. It was the first location in Showcase Cinemas' SuperLux luxury concept.

The cinema provides in-seat dining service with cuisine from an on-site location of Boston-area restaurant Davio's Cucina. A SuperLux Lounge offers pre-film drinks and appetizers, and full concierge services are available. Moviegoers can order food and cocktails through the Showcase app or at the lobby bar. The emphasis is on a premium, full-service moviegoing experience.

Showcase SuperLux Chestnut Hill opened on June 11, 2013 as the flagship location for the SuperLux brand, developed by National Amusements' Showcase Cinemas chain. The concept was designed to offer a luxury alternative to traditional multiplexes, combining first-run film with restaurant-quality dining and upscale amenities. The Chestnut Hill location was chosen for its position within the upscale Street shopping center, serving the affluent western suburbs of Boston.
