TD Garden is a 19,580-capacity (for concerts) multi-purpose arena at 100 Legends Way in Boston, situated above North Station. It serves as the home arena for the Boston Bruins (NHL) and Boston Celtics (NBA) and is one of the highest-grossing concert venues worldwide.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect a full-scale arena concert experience with steep bowl seating, luxury suites, club seats, and a large general admission floor section. TD Garden hosts over 200 events per year, including 50+ concerts annually alongside a full NBA and NHL season schedule.
HISTORY
TD Garden opened on September 30, 1995 as the FleetCenter, replacing the original Boston Garden. It was renamed TD Banknorth Garden in 2005 and shortened to TD Garden in 2009. A $70 million renovation in 2014 upgraded concourses, concessions, and technology throughout.
