THE ART HOUSE

The Art House is a performing arts venue at 214 Commercial Street in Provincetown, Massachusetts. The complex contains two intimate theaters, each seating approximately 127 people, with no bad seats in either room. The venue is a key part of Provincetown's summer performing arts scene.

Programming features Broadway performers, cabaret acts, drag shows, singers, comedians, and variety entertainment during a packed summer season. The two small theaters provide an up-close experience with professional-level talent. Shows rotate nightly during the peak season.

Producer Mark Cortale began bringing summer shows to the building's two theaters in 2011, establishing the Art House as a destination for Broadway-caliber cabaret and performance. Cortale, who launched his international producing career from the venue, departed in 2023. The Art House has continued under new producers, maintaining its role as a significant performing arts destination in Provincetown's cultural landscape.
