THE BLACK BOX

The Black Box is an award-winning theater and event venue at 15 West Central Street in downtown Franklin, Massachusetts. The 6,000-square-foot facility features a flexible open theater space seating up to 200, a spacious lobby with bar, and a catering prep area.

Expect a polished lineup of theatrical productions, live music, tribute bands, cabaret nights, and community events. The venue hosts the Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC), which produces musicals, plays, and the high-energy Electric Youth series.

Established in 2014, The Black Box was purpose-built as the home of the Franklin Performing Arts Company. FPAC produces three musicals and two plays each season featuring talent from New York and Greater Boston. The venue has become a cultural anchor for the MetroWest region.
