THE BLUE ROOM AT CITY SPACE

The Blue Room is a 100-seat performance space (up to 230 standing) inside CitySpace at 43 Main Street in Easthampton's Old Town Hall. The nonprofit venue features updated lighting, acoustics, and an upright piano.

Expect bluegrass, jazz, folk, and community-oriented performances. CitySpace Bluegrass runs on the first Saturday of every month from 4-7pm and is free and open to all. The Blue Room is available for rental by performers, bookers, and event organizers at reasonable rates.

CitySpace is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that took over management of Old Town Hall after the previous tenant, Flywheel Arts Collective, departed in 2020. The Blue Room opened in 2021 following renovations to the first-floor foyer and restrooms completed in 2014. CitySpace prioritizes public arts performances to keep the historic building active as a community resource.
