WHAT TO EXPECT

HISTORY
The building dates to 1740, with exposed beams, wide plank floors, and two fireplaces. It was the first stop on the Boston-to-Albany stagecoach route in the 1800s and has been maintained by a multi-generational family in Shirley since 1946.
