AMHERST
THE DRAKE
ABOUT
The Drake is a 240-capacity music hall operated by the Downtown Amherst Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, located at 44 N Pleasant St in downtown Amherst. The venue is dedicated to bringing arts and culture to the Amherst community and is open Tuesday through Sunday evenings.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect a mix of touring and local acts Thursday through Sunday nights in an intimate, all-ages setting. The nonprofit mission keeps the focus on accessible live music programming for the Five College area.
HISTORY
The Drake was established by the Downtown Amherst Foundation to fill a gap in the region's live music infrastructure. It is booked through DSP Shows, a regional promoter active across New England.
