THE DUBLINER PUB

PERMANENTLY CLOSED

ABOUT

The Dubliner is an Irish pub and restaurant at 2 Center Plaza in Boston's Government Center area, near Faneuil Hall. The space features traditional Irish pub design with woodwork, stonework, leather, and a painted tile ceiling. The pub boasts a collection of rare Irish whiskeys.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect a weekly lineup of traditional Irish music with fiddles and uilleann pipes, plus bands and solo musicians throughout the week. Wednesday nights feature Irish dancing, Irish music, and set Irish dinners. Weekend brunch includes a Sunday Roast.

HISTORY

The Dubliner opened in summer 2022 in the former Kinsale space (which operated from 1998). The pub is led by executive chef/owner Aidan McGee, who previously worked at Michelin-starred restaurants including Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, in partnership with the East Coast Tavern Group. The Dubliner has permanently closed as confirmed by Yelp, Foursquare, and HiddenBoston listings as of early 2026.
