ABOUT

The Jungle is a community music club at 6 Sanborn Court in Union Square, Somerville, Massachusetts. The 85-capacity venue is an independent, owner-operated bar and restaurant built in the former police car garage. The club is designed by and for local artists, fans, and musicians.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Live performances run every night the venue is open, spanning a range of genres from indie rock to experimental. The Jungle also hosts a free open mic and karaoke every Wednesday. Free parking is available on Sanborn Court after 6 PM. A food menu and full bar are available.

HISTORY

The Jungle opened in 2019 in Somerville's Union Square neighborhood. It was established as an intimate, community-focused alternative to larger Boston-area venues, with a mission to support local and emerging artists.
