THE LISTENING ROOM

The Listening Room of Cape Cod is an intimate concert space within Steeple Street Music Academy at 40 Steeple Street in Mashpee, Massachusetts, located in Mashpee Commons. The small stage and seating area are designed for acoustic performances and recitals.

Expect a weekly series of intimate live music events featuring folk, Americana, blues, Celtic, and acoustic genres. Performers have included artists like Jeremy Kittel (formerly of the Grammy-winning Turtle Island Quartet) and traditional Irish musicians The Friel Sisters. The listening-room format prioritizes attentive, seated audiences.

The Listening Room operates within Steeple Street Music Academy, a 501(c)(3) organization that also provides music lessons and educational programming on Cape Cod. The academy was recognized with the SCORE 2022 Small Business Excellence Award for Mashpee. The concert series was established to support and inspire musicians of all ages while building community through the arts.
