ABOUT

The Shepherd Center for the Performing Arts is a nonprofit venue at 34 Center Street in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, dedicated to supporting all forms of the arts. The 150-seat space hosts live music, open mic nights, workshops, jam sessions, and film screenings.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect an intimate community-focused experience with a range of programming from jazz and folk to acoustic acts. Open mic nights run on the first and third Wednesday of each month, and the venue regularly books regional performers across genres.

HISTORY

Founded in 2022, the Shepherd Center was established to provide educational programs highlighting the diverse culture of Fairhaven and surrounding communities. The venue has had multiple sellouts in its first years of operation, building a loyal local following.
