THE STAGE AT SUFFOLK DOWNS

The Stage at Suffolk Downs is a seasonal outdoor general admission concert venue with a capacity of 8,500, located in the infield of the former Suffolk Downs racetrack at 525 William F. McClellan Highway in East Boston. It is operated by The Bowery Presents in partnership with HYM Investment Group.

Expect a large-scale open-air festival-style concert experience on flat ground with no fixed seating. The venue operates during the warmer months and books major touring acts across rock, indie, electronic, hip-hop, and pop genres. The open infield setting provides an expansive feel distinct from traditional amphitheaters.

The Stage opened in spring 2023 on the grounds of the historic Suffolk Downs racetrack, which has hosted live music since The Beatles performed there in 1966. The racetrack site is undergoing a major mixed-use redevelopment, and The Stage operates as a seasonal venue during this transition.
