WHITE LION BREWING

White Lion Brewing Company is a craft brewery and taproom at 1500 Main Street inside Tower Square in downtown Springfield, Massachusetts, attached to the Marriott Hotel. Founded by Raymond Berry Jr. in 2014, White Lion is Springfield's first craft brewery and is on a short list of Black-owned breweries in the United States.

Expect a community-focused taproom with craft beer, a full kitchen, wine, and spirits. The brewery hosts live music including Free Music Fridays in partnership with MGM Springfield. Free parking is available in the Marriott garage for customers.

Raymond Berry Jr. founded White Lion after recognizing the absence of local beer in Springfield. The company started as a contract brewer with statewide self-distribution before opening its own facility at 1500 Main Street in early 2020 after 14 months of pandemic-related construction delays. The brewery was named one of the Top 25 Breweries in Western Massachusetts.
