GILFORD
Gilford is a Lakes Region town on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee that is home to New Hampshire's largest outdoor concert venue. While the town itself is a quiet residential community, the amphitheater draws major national touring acts all summer.
Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion (formerly Meadowbrook) is a 9,000-seat outdoor amphitheater that opened in 1996 and has won multiple Pollstar awards. It programs a full summer season of national headliners across rock, country, pop, and comedy from roughly May through September.
This is a drive-in, see-the-show, drive-out destination. The amphitheater setting on the lake is scenic, and the covered and lawn seating areas offer different price points and experiences. The audience comes from across New Hampshire and northern New England for the summer concert season.
Tip: The venue is at 72 Meadowbrook Lane off Route 11. Parking lots fill early for popular shows, so arrive well ahead of showtime. Tailgating is part of the culture here.
