Bernie's Beach Bar is an oceanfront restaurant, bar, and live music venue at 73 Ocean Boulevard in Hampton, New Hampshire. The venue features New Hampshire's largest oceanfront deck with an outdoor capacity of 1,500. Seating areas include beachfront tables, high-top tables, and rooftop tables with ocean views.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Live music runs up to seven nights a week from May through September, with programming spanning reggae, line dancing, country, rock, and national touring acts. The venue also hosts a Seacoast Oysterfest, cornhole tournaments, and comedy shows. Full food service includes fresh seafood, lobster dinners, and a kids' menu. VIP event space is available for private functions.
HISTORY
Bernie's Beach Bar was founded in 2013 by owner Albert Fleury, with a grand opening on July 5 of that year. Fleury designed the venue so guests could come directly off the beach in casual attire. The original concept centered on live bands playing reggae and island-style music nightly. Since opening, Bernie's has grown into Hampton Beach's primary outdoor concert destination.
