The Lizard Lounge is a 105-capacity subterranean nightclub located below the Cambridge Common restaurant at 1667 Massachusetts Avenue, between Harvard and Porter Squares. The venue is 21-plus with a full bar, cocktail list, and 30 beers on tap.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect an eclectic mix of rock, roots, hip hop, and experimental music from local and touring acts. The venue hosts the Lizard Lounge Poetry Jam & Slam every Sunday night. The intimate, low-ceilinged room creates close proximity between performers and audience.

HISTORY

Established in 1996, Lizard Lounge has been recognized by Boston Magazine as the city's best small music venue. The venue has maintained a consistent schedule of live music Wednesday through Saturday for nearly three decades.
