ARLINGTON

THE 4TH WALL AT CAPITOL THEATRE

ABOUT

The 4th Wall is a 120-capacity live music venue inside the Capitol Theatre at 204 Massachusetts Ave in Arlington. The space repurposes a cinema auditorium for concerts, pairing live performances with professional-grade projected visuals on the theater's silver screen.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect touring indie and underground acts most weekends, with cinema seating, popcorn, and psychedelic visual accompaniment from the creative team at Digital Awareness. The venue maintains an independent, DIY ethos in a unique multimedia setting.

HISTORY

The 4th Wall launched in late 2023 as a collaboration between FEI Theatres and Digital Awareness, conceived to address the post-COVID shortage of independent music venues while making use of underutilized cinema space. Manager David Jubinsky and talent buyer Ethan Gerber run the programming.
