ARROW STREET ARTS
ABOUT
Arrow Street Arts is a nonprofit multi-arts venue in Harvard Square occupying the former home of the American Repertory Theater's OBERON performance space. The main black box theater spans 4,500 square feet with retractable seating for up to 260, plus a 1,100-square-foot studio holding approximately 100.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Programming spans theater, spoken word, dance, music, and film in a flexible black box configuration. The venue partners with the Cambridge Community Foundation to provide subsidized access for small and mid-size arts organizations.
HISTORY
Founded by arts advocate David Altshuler, Arrow Street Arts opened in 2024 after extensive renovations. The space had previously operated as OBERON, the A.R.T.'s second stage, before that venue closed.
