REGATTABAR

The Regattabar is a 220-seat jazz club on the third floor of The Charles Hotel at One Bennett Street in Harvard Square. The room is known for its exceptional acoustics and intimate layout that places audiences close to performers.

Expect world-class jazz from both established and emerging artists. The venue hosts an annual jazz festival and has been named one of the best jazz venues in New England. The upscale hotel setting provides a more refined atmosphere than typical club environments.

The Regattabar opened on January 29, 1985 and has been named "Best of Boston" by Boston Magazine thirteen times, earning induction into the magazine's Hall of Fame in 2003. Past performers include Dizzy Gillespie, Herbie Hancock, Ahmad Jamal, and Sonny Rollins. The venue closed during COVID in March 2020 and reopened in September 2023.
